Why this area

What people love about Beach Club

The classic Sea Pines beach setup

Lifeguarded swimming, the big resort pool, chair-and-umbrella service, and the Coast restaurant a few steps away. The closest Sea Pines gets to a 'resort beach' experience — kids occupied, parents on lounge chairs.

Multigen-friendly without being chaotic

Lower-density than South Beach Marina Village or Coligny. Plenty of room for grandparents, parents, and kids to spread out. Quiet by 10pm — it's still Sea Pines.

Bike to Harbour Town for dinner

Live-oak-shaded paths connect the Beach Club area to Harbour Town in about 12 minutes by bike. The whole 'bike to dinner' Sea Pines pitch is easiest from this corner of the resort.

What guests say about Beach Club

"A great and wonderful place. We stayed for 6 weeks... next year 7. I guess that says it all. Great location, great views, interesting and beautiful furniture and decor. We've vacationed in HHI for 35 years and this is our favorite place."

"Conveniently situated near Beach Club and Sea Pines golf clubhouse, Turtle Lane is a private, gated, quiet community with a boardwalk out to the beach. An easy walk to music and food at Beach Club, or a moderate bike ride to South Beach for tennis, ice cream, and the Salty Dog."
Mitrina M · Jul 2018 · Turtle Lane Club #202 →
"We absolutely loved our stay. After entering the condo, we stepped out onto the lanai and saw more stars than we've seen in years. The view is breathtaking. We walked the beach for miles. We hope to return in the future."

Dining

Where to Eat in Sea Pines

About 8–10 restaurants inside the gates. Enough for a long weekend; a full week will have you venturing off-plantation for variety.

Harbour Town

  • QuarterdeckSeafood and southern classics next to the lighthouse. The rooftop oyster bar has some of the best sunset views on the island.
  • HarboursideFamily-friendly outdoor dining along the marina. American classics with front-row lighthouse views.
  • Links, an American GrillClubhouse dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Popular with golfers.

Beach Club

  • Coast, Oceanfront DiningThe most upscale option within Sea Pines. Fresh seafood with Atlantic Ocean views.
  • Ocean LoungeCocktails and an extensive bourbon selection with ocean views.

South Beach

  • Salty Dog CafeEveryone goes at least once. Waterfront, live music, cold beer, solid seafood. The t-shirt is basically an HHI souvenir requirement.
  • The WreckSame marina, less of a wait. Good when the Salty Dog line is 45 minutes deep on a Saturday in July.
  • Jake's PizzaFast, no-fuss, feeds hungry kids in 15 minutes.

8-10 restaurants is enough for a long weekend but can feel repetitive over a full week. For more variety, head to Coligny Plaza or Shelter Cove — both are a 15-20 minute drive from Sea Pines.
