You can genuinely park your car on arrival and walk to everything you need for your entire stay, with no gate fees eating into your vacation budget. The pool complex is a highlight: a large zero-entry saltwater pool (gentle on skin and eyes), a separate kiddie pool, a hot tub, and expansive sundeck areas with tropical palm landscaping. Five buildings are arranged around manicured grounds with a grass courtyard — one five-story oceanfront tower with elevator service, plus smaller two-story walk-up buildings. The complex has a private beachwalk to the beach, outdoor showers, poolside restrooms, community grilling areas, and 24-hour security with an electronic gated entrance. Shorewood underwent major building-level upgrades in 2024, including a new roof, new HVAC systems, and new elevators — a sign that the complex is reinvesting in itself.
